It's the fact I won't be able to listen or watch ESPN for a whole week without Jesus talk. You need to Tebow for 5 hours to repent.

I can't wait till next week when New England beats the shit outta them. I hope Denver gets beat 45-0. And it's not because I have a team in the NFL, in fact I don't have a team in the NFL. I really only care about college BB/FB, and NBA. It's the fact I won't be able to listen or watch ESPN for a whole week without Jesus talk. We need more Jesus talk not less imho. No we don't. Some of us don't believe in fairy tail stories and are sick of religion pushing it's way into everything. If you wanna pray and believe fine, do it in church. Leave us non-believers alone ESPN. And like I said, no ill word to Tebow for his beliefs, it's ESPN I hate for making it so dam religious.

Man, I don't think anyone will be getting you a Tebow jersey for your birthday. You're safe there. But here's a fact you're not gonna like: you were the first person to bring up religion in this thread. Perhaps you could stand to talk about it less yourself. I don't log on to DD to see my religious beliefs unnecessarily crapped upon by mrlair as being a fairy tale any more than you turn on ESPN to hear them talk about Tebow's faith. And if it helps to keep your rant from going nuclear, you'll be happy to know I also think that New England is going to kill them.

Tebow is about the only thing of interest in the NFL at this point.
I would love for them to beat New England.

Noone said he would be anythign as a pro -- well he doesn't have the passing like Brady-Rodgers-Manning-Brees but has the leadership that might trump all except for Manning. Folks thought Brees would never make it as well at 6'0 tall -- seems Like Brees is okay huh??

I would love to have a Tebow at UK. He could make any team better. I think tebow would struggle behind our offensive line

the thing is, Tebow isn't pushing religion on anyone - he is doing his own thing, he isn't proselytizing? (not sure if I got that right).
He seems to have a pretty good grasp of the situation he's been thrust into.

Actually religion is everywhere, our issues in the Middle East is all about religion, whether one believes or not if you don't understand the ramificatons of religious beliefs in our lives your living with your head stuck in the sand. I don't care if Tebow prays and demonstrates it openly. I see that no differently then some guys celebrating a sack or TD and I view it a lot better then loud mouthed assholes talking trash the NFL allows, bottom line is Tebow is at the core a competative winning athlete, he is not an elite QB but he does appear to be able to win despite the criticism, he does not shy away from the limelight or the big play, he steps up, somtimes he fails but he puts it out there, enjoy watching someone maximizing his talents and having some success doing it. I doubt many of us work as hard as he does to try to improve nor gives the time to others that he does religious reasons or not. Theres a bit of a positive object lesson we should all take note of with this person whether you like his religious convictions or not.

I actually expect bigger things from Tebow. I get the feeling NFL quarterback is just another stop on a journey for him.

Tim Tebow just opened a hospital in the Phillipines that serves an island that didn't have one...He helped raise the money in the offseason and gave of his time and himself....I like that story a whole lot better than a dumbass going to a strip club and shooting himself in the leg.....
Tebow has every right to do his own thing....if the media chooses to blow it up into something it isn't that is on them.....btw a ton of players circle together after games to say a pray....I don't see anyone making a stink about that...
