shabazz was coming to UK. the coaches were absolutely shocked when he backed out. he gave them an affirmitive commitment at 11, then changed his mind. ( or someone changed his mind for him). this is from someone very credible who worked for uk over 30 years

It was obvious watching Shabazz committ to UCLA that he was not very comfortable and his heart was not in it.

Shame he can't pull a jonesbut i think mommy and daddy want to stay on the futuregravy train too much and thy are beholden to addidas.
Last thingwe'dwantis anOrton Meeks situation. We can see that not only talent is neededbut chemistry and trust andparents shutting th f($$;k up andletting kids grow andbe instructedby peeps that know all aspectsof the gme including the best way to get the player to the next level.

Since it is finished, and the GUNNER chose the dysfunctional bruins--whether true or not--
I was told AFTER his announcement--"It was a huge surprise to the staff".
coaches believed until he said woodencheater u--that gunner was coming to UK. It was a "DUH" moment. Total dis-belief.

It was a "DUH" moment. Total dis-belief. rr I'm sure that's true, but I'm still glad he went elsewhere. I would have been cautiously optimistic if he had chosen UK, but Cal's misses, as few and far between as they have been, have turned out OK. He missed on CJ Leslie. he missed on Harrison Barnes, those two come to mind right away and neither lived up to billing. Maybe they would have thrived here? But, so far, even Cal's misses have been good.

I think Mohammed would have been similar to Meeks in how it would have worked out for our team. I believe Calipari could have made either guy work within the confines of team, but the good news is, he wont have that to deal with. I still think Calipari has 2 more players yet to commit to UK. I obviously have no sources, I just feel that will be the case. I see our roster as incomplete. SM is twice the player that your boy MEeks was. MEeks would have been a cnacer to Cal's team. I'm sure that's why you wanted him. he was a tubbylover just like you.

Shabazz was always either going to UCLA or UNLV -- The Adidas thing sealed it for UCLA. UK was NEVER seriously considered until we made the final 4 and Bazz saw our style and success and started to rethink but it was short lived. Don't know where this info comes from but NOONE expected Bazz to go to UK ( not saying in his heart he didn't want to ) -- I don't claim to be an insider or in the know - But on Shabazz I was as I went to Gorman and know people that give money to the school.

The Wall shoe deal rumors were all bullshit started by rival fans. They said he was getting money from Adidas then WWW got him Nike money and he picked us because we are a Nike school. Funny how he signed with Reebok even though those other companies were paying him.
Dumbass tard fans.

This is one star we do without. not arguing that at all jd and he wont get the coaching he needs at UCLA he would be a handful if his game could be harnessed a bit he wouldnt have to be the man and he could develop and flourish. Oh well we can see him in the nit or early ncaa.. If ucla aint sanctioned while hes there due to current circumstances. I foroneam damn happy to have what we have we have the best player this year and its not noel

Sorry your info was NOT correct - you can spin it if you want -maybe you have people in the know -I have no idea but they gave you false info--- Bazz to UCLA or UNLV was a done deal a long time ago. When UNLV was taken off he was a UCLA lock
