I'm still trying to find out about that stable of guards Calipari ran in and out of the line up this past CHAMPIONSHIP season. I thought we played with Lamb and Teague most of the season...I wasn't aware of a mid season addition of additional guards. #th_thinking# #th_thinking#

Any team needs a very good backcourt which consist of someone that is almost equal to your best point guard, just ask north carolina.

Poythress can bring the ball up like Miller or Jones did if needed....any player that Calipari recruits can run,and handle the ball.

There are zero guards on our recruiting radar, according to any of the gurus. And how many elite or even really good guards are still uncommitted? Zilch. If we get one, it will be one that is already here. I doubt that Cal is going to go look for Jucos.

Then the only thing that woulod make sense is Cal knows one guard at least is coming back. 2 good guards ONLY doesn't sound national caliber potential. Yea,NO way Calipari can win a national title with only 2 guards. #th_rofl2#

Yea,NO way Calipari can win a national title with only 2 guards. #th_rofl2# Well we had 3 last year because I count Miller. I still say we add another ball handler. I stand by that. Either one comes back or we get a surprise recruit. #th_slap# #weird#

There is some smoke around Jones possibly returning. According to someone, Cal told Jones he would be top 5 next season.

Any team needs a very good backcourt which consist of someone that is almost equal to your best point guard, just ask north carolina. We didn't have anyone anywhere near equal to Teague and we won the tilte. Your UNC tams just sucked ass.

You would find a way to be negtive about that too. I'll take my chances, bring em on. A repeat would give us an opportunity for a super elusive 3-peat.

Katman I am with you in that it wouldn't hurt if we could land another guard, but I am not sure that Hood might not be the one who could bring the ball up for brief limited minutes. If we had an injury to Harrow or Archie it would be very important for our other guards to avoid foul trouble. But what I have come to believe in is Cal. The man is on top of everything about our program.
Just like bringing the trophy around to all areas of the state. What a great idea. He really gets it. He knows that the Cats belong to ALL the people of Kentucky, not just Lexington and Louisville. He will get what we need and then he will coach them up. We have the right man for the job. Go Cats!
