Here is a picture of my wife holding the trophy with Coach O. My big mug is between the two of them. As you can see Coach Cal had his wife with him today. One funny moment was after Cal gave his speech to the crowd and he was done, he got the microphone again really quick and said, "Oh, and did we get some good news last night?" The crowd cheered, talking about Nerlens Noel of course, and Cal said, "Yes we did!!"

Yeah DMR, that is in your old home of Ashland. You guys are right, the wife is a good lookin' Lexington-born-and-raised gal. Robcat, she has 3 older sisters, all married. I will keep you posted though. #th_laff#
I heard that Tipton tweeted there were only 250 people there. Just more typical Tipton being an enemy of everything UK does and Cal does. There were at least 4 or 5 times that many people there.

I haven't known him that long, but for a while. I knew him through his Dad, Ron. Ron Cyrus was the Executive Director of the ky St AFL-CIO. I knew him for years before I wnet to work for him. I worked for Ron for 11 years. I had just started working for him when Achy-Breaky heart came out. ;D Those were some times to be around the Cyrus family. The younger crowd of my family can't believe that I know Miley. They could care less about Billy Ray.

I'm just really impressed that the coaching staff would go to all the trouble and hassle of a bus tour when they must all be exhausted already from the strain of the season. It's the kind of spirit and fan appreciation that sets them apart.
Thanks Coach Cal and his staff for sharing the glory with the entire commonwealth.

My feeling exactly, Cal and the coaches obviously really appreciate the unprecedented support from the Big Blue Nation. And the feeling is mutual!!!!!
