I won't call it news but a buddy in Vegas did say He will either end up at UNLV or UK unless wowed by a visit froma dark horse. He doesn't want to play SF or play back up to Young at Florida. Things are looking good for Bennett to UK according to what I heard. Hey Canada is alot closer than Vegas for Momma ...........

I think we add Bennett and hopefully that foriegn shooter I would be happy with that. Next year we got the Harrison twins and likely Jamal - again from my hometown now Call just needs a few bigs and wow another MONSTER class. Cal is unreal

2013 is going to be Cal's greatest class yet, and maybe the greatest in NCAA history. When you have a top ten talent like Walker begging for an offer to come to Kentucky and Young basically saying the same thing you know your sitting pretty.

I hope he can wait a couple days. I'll be in Vegas tomorrow and I am betting on UK to win the championship at those 10-1 odds. When Bennett commits, those odds will fall closer to 5-1. Gotta get the money in while the getting is good. #th_evil#

I thought most bigs today seem to want to play a "smaller" position. This is good news then because we need more help at the pf spot anyway.

I think you got that wrong, he wants to play SF so he can showcase his face up game but he knows the promise by Donovan is iffy at best. Donovan isnt going to play him at SF.. At UK he can play the 4 which is on offense is completely interchangable with the 3 spot. But from all the info thats come along the last couple of months it looks like people are really pushing him to UF. Hopefully UK can wow him on his visit.
If we can get Bennett then we are one of 3 favorites for a title again.... We will compete for a title even without him but with him, we're at monster level once again.

I agree with Stand. There really is no such thing as 3 and 4 at UK now. If you have a handle, can shoot you play all over the floor. No one has to promise a kid you will be a 3 or whatever. The one positon locked in at UK now is the PG. All goes through that guy, the rest they play all over the court

Only a couple of things he needs to look at.
1. First round picks from UK in the last three years 2. Games won in the SEC in the last three years. 3. Cal's offense and defense vs. Munster's 4. Who's best to develop his game, i.e. overall skillset as it pertains to the NBA. 5. Can he handle the big time...UK is the best place to find that out.
It is clear where he should go...however he's an 18 or 19 year old kid..and Munster does have an unlimited supply of blonde ego boosters #th_laff#

Gotta get the money in while the getting is good. #th_evil# I'll be in vegas myself in 2 weeks & I hope the odds are still 10-1. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy cashing a ticket @ the bellagio on a futures bet I made in November on the Cats to win it all in 2012. I got 4/1 odds at that time. Those were the best odds I could find in early November on the Cats. Pay attention to Vegas, they have a lot more riding on these things than the talking heads do.

I am at the MGM, and here they have the Cats at 8/1 to win the 2013 NCAA tournament. UL and IU are also 8/1. Those are the three favorites, obviously.

I find it so funny that UofHell is a a favorite to win it all next year. We are talking about a team that didn't beat anyone with a .500 conference record in league play, looked like dog shit many times, didn't add anyone, but got hot and made a run, now they are a favorite to win it all. LOL
If they would of lost in the sweet 16 no one would be talking about them and they would be a preseason top 20 team. That run doesn't change the fact they are still an average Big least team.
