I got a bunch more steaks on top of all the other steaks I have piling up my basement Fridge. I actually might just take some of the KC strips and Porterhouses and jerky them. Just can't think of the best way to do it... anyone have any idea's

I do it sometimes...Marinade the meat for a few days in(for me hot pepper liquid) and then just cut the meat into small strips and put it in a food dehydrator until its the way you like it. We make deer jerky here in Ky.

Actually a legitimate preparation question Streeter, I'd use a bit of wostershire in the marinade, some sugar to break down the meat a bit (brown sugar is my preference) a touch of lemon for no reason other than it kicks the flavor a bit, some hot sauce to taste and of course salt and pepper. Marinate several days and dehygrate to desired texture, your using good cuts of meat so no matter what you do it will be good and marinade is a personal thing, hell add some herbs to the marinade. Its all good.

There's a local mexican restaurant that we go to a lot. They have some HOT sauce that they don't put on the tables or the menu. You have to ask for it and they will only bring a little of it out. It is so frickin hot you can't stand it. It's probably made with ghost peppers. All the help comes out to watch and see if you will eat it.
You only put about a teaspoon of it into a large bowl of salsa. Anymore than that and you can't eat it. Even then it's too hot for most people.
I like hot and spicy stuff but I don't like that stuff. It has no flavor. It's just hot. I like the caribean jerk at BWW's. It's a little hot but it has flavor.
Whatever is in this sauce at the mexican place has no flavor unless HOT is a flavor.

I like jalapeno peppers and regular chili peppers. Habenaro peppers are really too hot, but I love spicy hot and the flavor of jalapenos.
Ghost peppers are just for episodes of "Man versus Food" I cant imagine ever choosing to try that again.
At work several years ago we paid this guy 5 bucks to eat a Habenaro pepper and he did and I thought he was going to heave his toenails out his nose.

I really like the Mango-Habenero at BW3's with a little Blue Cheese on the side.
I have had Ghost Pepper once at Jake Melnicks here in Chicago -- they make you sign a waiver before you eat it. I finished all 8 -- granted after the first one and the incredible pain -- not in mouth actually my lips and outer mouth and hands were on fire -- I dipped the rest heavily in Blue Cheese. If it wasn't so hot it had a great taste. I would only rccomend Ghost Pepper wings if you enjoy a good 3 hours on the can maybe 2 hours after eating.
