Actually I think Ryan left for several reasons. He said it was for his kids and I think that was one of the reasons. However he did not like Trump or all of Trump's ideas, but because Trump was/is president, he had to deal with him on a regular basis. I think that was enough to make him walk away. In that sense, imo Trump did run him off. ummmmm No. Lmao. A man still 48 and speaker at time leaves because he has a difficult to deal with president? By that reasoning most of congress would be gone. Hell Trump dumped obamacare replacement on him as Trump had no plan of his own. Ryan stepped down to distance himself from Trump to set up a 2024 run. I said it was ONE of the reasons. If he has guilt over not spending enough time with his kids (he did), then constantly dealing with someone you don't like is a good motivator to take an action you are tempted to take anyway. I know when my daughter was young, I cut back on time at my business to be with her and I did not have to deal with people I didn't like. If you are wealthy and have other options, why deal with something you hate when your children are additional motivators?

Oh, if you recall Ryan did not want the speaker's job. He had to be talked into taking the job as a sense of duty.
