Very sorry to here this. Pratt was a good guy who represented the program admirably. One less connection to Kentucky basketball the way it used to be. RIP Mike.

Casey, Pratt and Issel---dynamic TRIO who just never quite made it to a final four. Ohio State last shot by Sorenson at Memorial Coliseum, and the Jacksonville theft when Issel fouled out--Casey car accident.
Rest in Peace Mike Pratt.

The old guard, very sad. Not sure why UK wants to alienate the ones of us who are still here, but they have.
RIP Mike Pratt, ascend sir, and God bless your journey.

Sad news, one of the greats of UK basketball, Issel, Pratt, Steel, Casey, Dinwiddie were the guys playing when I first became a fan of UK basketball.

Learning of the passing of Mike Pratt really saddens me, not only for his loss as a great representative of the glory days of Kentucky basketball, but for the symbolic loss of the program itself. Itis disheartening that we the fans (especially us older fans) have allowed a PC administration, a stooge A D and a bunch of scared big donors to continue to rob us of our heritage and something so beloved by most of us throughout our lives. We didn’t fight for our legacy and we allowed our huckster of a coach to lead the charge in cancelling our iconic standing in the game without putting up any opposition. The loss of UK is a microcosm of what has happened to the country as well. RIP Mike Pratt. RIP Kentucky basketball. We loved you both.

Very sorry to hear it prayers and condolances to his family. He had a battle with cancer I was unaware of his illness until I saw on another site that the fans were raising money to help cover some medical expense
