There where a ton of other headlines and better games tonight, but he was the head anchor tonight. We have played at 9 before and most of the time we are not the lead in segment, more often really late into the broadcast.
He seems to be the only one that respects and understands Kentucky basketball, and has posted on TCP before. He gets it and is the best, IMO.

yea, he is a UK fan
that segment with Dykes sucked though. Brought it up 3 times during the game and I thought it was going to be a big deal

How did Van Pelt come to be a UK fan? You ever heard him talk about it, or just guessing? Just curious... He went to Maryland, but has said many times before on his radio show he not only respects Kentucky basketball but follows and roots for them. He has also defended us fans when many didn't during the end of Tubby, and has supported Cal since he got here. He has said recruiting 1-n-done is smart and anyone that thinks isn't is just mad they can't. He has also posted and I believe still has a name on TheCatspause, where he has praised our fan base. Not sure but name one ESPN person other than him to post on that website? He may not be a true fan. But he sure as hell are better than the rest of them. |

yeah, he's posted on Catspause over the years, I forget his screen name, but it had something to do with Maryland, where he went, like the name of a landmark there or something. It wasn't anything that screamed "SVP" or anything, at least best I remember. He posted on a few of the Rivals sites from time to time. Great guy, by a million billion zillion the best guy that works for ESPN, TV or radio.
