Is if 5 things happens at once:
A. they play a team that has size B. They play a team that is hitting from 3 C. They aren't hitting shots D. The other team had high caliber talent C. The other team is playing out of their heads combined with UK playing a poor game.
Even the local Chicago media is catching on now to UK's talent. They said flat out this is the most talented team in college basketball since the Fab 5 on pure talent. Since this was Chicago they gushed over AD for a while and he has earned that as IMO he is our most valuable player not the best player ( IMO MKG is ) but he is our most valuable.
They go on to say when UK is hitting from 3 noone can beat them even on their best day.
Look in March upsets happen but we are seeing the most talented UK team to ever grace the commonwealth. Not saying the best that was 96 as they were deep and seasoned but for talent this is by far the best we have ever had.
Only teams that scare me are teams that hit 3;s and have a great big man -- aka OSU or a team with a solid bug guy and for 1 game goes nuts from 3 like IU did.

I dunno who said it, but no freaking shit. B,C,D,C2 are all obvious ways to beat a better team, or even an equal team.
What dumbasses.

Crazy shit happens in March....but that being said I would rather go into March with an extremely talented team and take my chances....if this were like the NBA a best of 5 or 7 I wouldn't even sweat it....

Vandy bothers me more than anybody in the SEC. If they get hot from the 3 in that circus arena in Nashville--they will be tough to beat.

All road games in the league are going to be tough, but I sense that this team is starting to get into a groove, and learning to play together. Last season, Knight and company played a lot different at the end than they did at the beginning of the season. That's the unique quality that Cal has, he's not tied to a particular way of playing, he adjusts to accentuate the strengths of his players. I think Cal is just now beginning to figure out how best to use this team. They've already been pretty much of a juggernaut at 18-1, but nothing like they're going to be come tournament time.

Syracuse worries me a bit because of the zone depends on if they get to the FF, if they maintain and lose only one or two, they will probably get to stay in the NE or MSG if one of the rounds is there also depends on they styles the NCAA trys to match them up with. All I know is even if a no. 1 seed UK will end up being in the toughest bracket guaranteed, might even try to match us up with UNC and UConn again

Syracuse worries me a bit because of the zone I think "cuse" will get knocked out and not make it to the FF...they will have the big target on their backs...JMO.

That's right, we won't ever play Syracus this season. They will be a 1 seed in a different region and they won't win their region. I wish we would play them, though. I would be thrilled if they fell to a 2 seed and were the 2 in our region. Does anyone really believe that they are the best team in the country? Anyone even believe they are top 5?

Does anyone really believe that they are the best team in the country? Anyone even believe they are top 5? I wish I could see them go on the road and play someone really good. Their schedule lines up really nicely for them - easy teams on the road, tough games at home. They finally have to play @uconn the next to last game of the season. I really don't know how good they are because I haven't seen them tested, except by overrated teams like Florida. I suppose I'd put them in my top 5 though. And the way our offense looks against a zone at this point in time, I'm not as anxious to play them as you are. I do agree though that they will be a #1 seed in another region and we won't play them because some team with a hot shooting hand will beat them, as so often happens to them in the tournament.
