There was a local girl in my town who was a real girls high school superstar. Was being recruited by Tennessee, and all the other big schools. I don't remember where she ended up. But anyway, when we were both in high school, I went over to her house one day and played her some 1-on-1 in her driveway. She was small, weak, average quickness, shot from her chin... Long story short, it was a joke. She could shoot the ball, if I chose to let her. It was not that much different than playing a little kid. I took it easy on her, so as not to be a jerk, but I made sure never to let her win just in case she was going to tell someone she beat me. I mean, this was a really serious high school recruit, and it was like playing a kid. Made me realize that girls basketball is barely even the same game as men's. It has as about as much busines being discussed on this men's basketball board as football, volleyball, rifle, swimming, etc. When the women win the national championship, like the rifle team or the cheerleading team, let us know. Until then, I think it should get as much talk as the rifle team. Actually, it should get less, because the rifle team is actually a championship team that has won something. of course you would beat up on a defenseless young girl...LOL
