Teague has been fantastic, running the team, getting everyone involved. But those defensive numbers are unbelievable! #th_ThumbsUpSmiley#

Teague is fast becoming the player we thought he would be at the beginning of the year. This team is flat out fun to watch. I'm enjoying this as much or more than the '96 season!

And he had 10 assists. Did have 5 turnovers, but two of them were bogus. One was the charge that wasn't and another was the one that should have been charged to Wiltjer.
Davis is wonderful, can't say enough about MKG and Jones is back to being Jones, Lamb seems to be out of his funk. Still, this team is rounding into form because of the play of Teague. #th_clap#

He absolutely dominated Walker. Beal is a good player, but when Gilchrist locked in on him...he was dominated too.

Cal's first team and this team are different type teams...however both are extremely talented. Is this great or what?!

The Wildcats are quintessential definition of TEAM DEFENSE. The philosophy is brilliantly simple. Close out on the shooters, funnel drives to Davis, and help on the interior. This team plays that defense perfectly. Walker is a mediocre SEC point guard. He is a good shooter, however, he does not facilitate for his teammates. Florida spent almost the entire night working one-on-one without running a set offense. Teague stayed up on Walker...not allowing him to shoot. And at 3'10", Walker would have to shoot interior shots at an 85 degree angle to get them over Davis...impossible. Davis is a game-changer on defense. He erases most interior shots...either by block or by intimidation of his block. Everything revolves around Davis on defense. As long as MKG and TJ stay active helping on the interior, teams cannot score without hitting difficult circus shots. I can't remember a UK team EVER that plays like we do defensively. All I can do is applaud.... #th_clap# #th_clap# #th_clap#

I dont think I have seen anyone explode to the basket as well as Kidd-Gilchrist does. He is like an NFL running back. This UK team would beat our 2010 team and 2011 team in a 7 game series. They are that good. I even think they could win a few in a series with the 96 team. The 78 team I have no idea, my memory is foggy...I just know the 78 team was powerful and had non UT type weapons. With all due respect to the 78 team and I grew up with them and will always love them, the game today is played at such a faster more athletic pace. IMO this UK team would be hard for them to handle. I just think the quickness of these kids today is overwhelming.

I liked that first foul Teague committed, he sent a MESSAGE with that..."don't EFF with me or my team!"

i knew that teague had been checking his man pretty good lately, but seeing it in black and white is eye-opening.
