After the wandering years of TLT and what's his name from Texas, I can't believe we continually get this kind of press and the recruiting classes we now routinely bring in. It seems like only yesterday (a really, really bad yesterday) that the likes of Shagari Alleyne, Marvin (hands of) Stone and other were stinking up the Rupp Arena floor. The stench has been permanently removed by Cal. It is definitely a great time to be a Cat fan again! PVO and Go 'Cats!

We are in the Golden Age of Kentucky Basketball, such as we have never seen before. The kind of players Cal is attracting to this program is unprecedented. As long as Cal is here, it will be that way, and that means multiple championships

I am very grateful for what Cal has done and continues to do here.... I don't ever want to see players like Porter, Orbzute, Shagari, Sheray Thomas, Bobby (learn to finish) Perry, Mike Williams, Adam Williams, Ramon Harris and many morre. I know there are others I am forgetting. They are probably all "good guys", however I don't want their lack of talent at Kentucky.
Again, I can not put into words what it means having Cal around.

The reason we "still" get this bad press.....IMO, the older sports writers and their ilk have schooled the "younger" sportswriters they mentored into believeing that Kentucky Basketball is no good and they need slammin' at every corner...It's passed down from generational writers to the new kiddie sportswriters generation.........You have sports writers slammin' UK that wasn't even alive during the Hall era much less the Rupp era....
