Here is what i have been told;
*Bennett is going to be a UK Wildcat--just waiting for "his day" to announce. Best info suggests within a week--or less.
*Doron Lamb---likely return for another season. Best info indicates he will return.
#9 will be mighty FINE!!!

I think Doron returning is a wise choice, if he does......with Harrow in the fold I don't see Teague as a necessity.....besides this is a weak PG draft and the perfect time for Teague to head to the league....

Any possibility of Teague coming back as well? No inside info here, but from all appearances Teague played his way into the first fround and that will make him leave. His goal was to get to the NBA. Good on him for making it. Lamb's dream is also to play in the NBA, but he is just not ready. Probably won't ever be. Might as well play for the best college team if you can't make the NBA. I wish Teague would come back as I'm not sold on Harrow, {sorry rr, you may be right about him and I hope you are}. I really like Goodwin. He is a much more complete player than Lamb and he can back up the point. Cal will pick up a couple of practice dummies that can spell the guards for a few minutes here and there and all will be fine however this shakes out.

You're right DMR. I keep forgetting about Harrow. Somebody has me thinking we need another guard. #th_laff# Just messin' with ya Katman.

Goodwin can play the 3,Potyhress the 4,Lamb at the 2,Harrow at point...with the eraser playing the 5. OR:
Noel,Bennett,Poythress,Lamb and Harrow. OR Noel,Wiltjer,Bennett,Goodwin and Lamb....So many combinations!
With the addition Bennett AND Lamb's return, this will be Calipari's deepest team since he's been here.
We will be 7-8 deep with not a lot of drop off at all. Calipari can match up players based on any situation....

Talk about competitive practices! Players know Calipari only likes to go 6 deep...this will bring out the best in all of them.

Last year we went with 7 Davis Gilchrist Jones Lamb Miller Wiltjer Teague If Lamb is returning I see 7 again. Harrow Poythress Cauley Noel Goodwin Wiltjer Lamb If we add Anthony Bennett...we go 8 deep with quality. There could be an odd man out.

You simply cannot tell the truth. No one has made that argument. Where do you come up with this shit?

I think we are on the same page Katman #th_thinking# ... This team is probably deeper than our championship team...if Lamb returns, and we add Bennett.
Calipari likes to go only 6-7 deep. Cauley will get time if Noel gets in foul trouble...Kyle Wiltjer had better work his ass off this summer...hit the weight room, and work on his lateral movement...and keep his shooting eye sharp.

Lamb coming back would indeed be a plus, experiance, great shooter, could be a good stabilizing factor. However, should somthing change and he takes the next step, I'm no worried about getting another guard, Call rotated Miller, and Lamb at the 2 and Teague and Lamb at the point. He'd do somthing similar the upcoming season.
Everyone want 10 deep, hell we only play six the whole game maybe seven and that's fairly well inclusive of cigar time. Its one damn reason Cal gets these kids, he doesn't overstock, he gets the kids in shape, they get lots of reps, they improve more quickly than most others.
Geeeez quit being so damn negative and apprehesive, winning 37 instead of 38 a year but winning No. 9 ain't gonna be that bad. Besides Cal's got a couple of big things in mind, 40-0 and passing UCLA.
.PVO!!!!

My source says Lamb goes to the NBA. He has no insight on Bennett. BUT, my source is not as good as rr's, as he has been somewhat separated from the program.
One new tidbit. My guy says Hood will transfer.
