MKG is really young...he is probably apprehensive about taking that next step. He is very uncomfortable around the media, and he is nervous about being "on his own". I really see on a financial standpoint he needs to go,but with him he really might need a year of emotional maturity.

College can be good for him. It could just be he wants to stay at UK. I for one will welcome him with open arms if he wants to stay in school. Yeah, you are the only one that wants him to stay. You martyr piece of shit.

I disagree a little -- I think he just loves it here and doesn't want to leave -- like I said before this is a time u can never get back. I this he is mature wise ready to go if thats what he wanted -That said he is a top 2-5 selection and I know he isn't exactly rich - He gave us a title and for him him give up millions just isn't a smart choice. Teague on the other hand -- and I don't know there isn't more talk on him is the one that actually needsto come back. He will be a lotto pick next year instead of a low first rounder this year - from a money stand point it makes more sense for teague. Lamb where he stays or goes will be picked around the same slot -- maybe a little higher next year -- but he is a 6'4 SG which isn't ideal in the NBA -- he would be a microwave type player on the next level and thats his ceiling.

I dont think they can come back anymore after putting their name in, new rule. I'm hoping Lamb comes back. Correct. The deadline to pull out has passed. Once they put in now, they're all in unless they don't get drafted and even then they'd have to pull a magical Randolph Morris fax out of their a$$. Personally I think you are right but that is really BS that would get pounded in any court, if you do not hire an agent, if you pay your own way, if you stay in good academic standing and keep the "amateur" NCAA BS status I don't see any way they could prohibit you form playing if you returned. You can liken it to a regular student (and the NCAA is a real ass about insisting that the SA's are regular students, you can do what ever you want and come back to school at anytime if you maintain your academic standard, that includes paid internships (now that's a damn thought - tryouts / workouts- paid intern to develop potential future employee). Hell I aint a lawyer and I think I could win that on discrimination agaist the athlete vs. student alone. I do hope Lamb makes the right decision for him...alll kinds of 2's coming out...good ones with more length, hops and quickness, not many with better BBall IQ but IMO his stock can only go up with another year in particular another championship year.

I think MKG will do what he and his Mom think best, if in fact he goes top 5 that'd be damn hard to turn down but that kid is wired a bit different, another year might see him take it up another notch offensivly...or he could get injured. His Mom and Uncle have done a pretty good job on that young man, seems like a real class kids that has his head on straight. Tough as hell mentally too. I hope he shocks us all and stays but he won't, truth be told he can't even if his Mom is willing to sacrifice more. Hell we need more kids like him. HOpe he makes many millions and keeps it in the next ten years. Doesn't impress me as a guy with a lot of no accounts hanging on. Gonna miss you young man if you go, havn't been too many like you at UK and that's saying somthing.

The thing is, being that all 5 are having a news conference, it's a lock they are all leaving. This eliminates all doubt. You Never know katman. ;D
