Wish I could say I'm shocked but I'm not. They earned the right to go pro.

No one ever knows exactly what an 18-19 kid will do on any given day.
I have several very good long time sources close to the show and have been for years.
Lamb, is most likely to come back at the moment. Now tomorrow could change but each passing day puts someone else in front of him.
There is one sticking point in who comes back and thats MKG. His case in unique as he loves KY. He loves playing he loves the fans all of it.
Problem is he is probably a top 2 pick. He should go. It is the opportunity of a lifetime for both him and his mother, who by the way has fallen in love with KY as well.
Cal my guess will chase him out the door because its right for MKG.
The rest are gone.
We will know soon enough, but thats the very best guess at this exact moment.

Over the past 3 seasons,I've enjoyed UK basketball as much as I've ever have...this is a special group, but they have the right to follow their dreams. We as UK fans have to re-think the way we view teams now...I expect new players every year, but that doesn't change my excitement, and pride of a new season.
What Calipari and UK are doing is nothing short of amazing. UK is at the top of the mountain...Coach Cal said it perfectly..."we just don't move the needle...we ARE the needle".

I want the players to do what is best for them and their families....let the chips fall where they may...they have earned it and we as fans should respect their decisions....

Exactly, that is why I respected what Jones and Lamb did last year by returning as well as the ones that left. Cal wants em to leave to he can establish the brand to get more players. I understand that, but ironicly what established his brand as title building was returning players. It takes both. Sure, I want all the players to be happy. Seems like Jones and Lamb are real happy about right now as well as the ones in the league who probably are happy for them. Everyone is happy. Sometimes coming back isnt such a bad thing. Where do you get that Cal wants them to leave?? Every interview I've seen Cal he says it would be wonderful to have all these guys for 4 years. Is this another Louisvillt thing to make up things about the UK coach?

My info as of 10 mins ago is that the only question is Lamb. In his case it well may not be better for him go go at the moment. Everyday has brought another name out there that seems to be jumping in front of him.
I am getting the vibe he well maybe back. He needs to really work on his ball handling and running point to make it in the show.
Now bare in mind he well may put his name in and not hire an agent and go to the workouts and see what GMs and such say, but honeslty I think Cal has his own folks in the NBA that are telling him.
Lamb may well go, but little bit more Im hearing he stays for a year. If so thats great news.
Everyone close in Lexington like our chances with AB. FL was in early but Cal is the one finishing.

I dont think they can come back anymore after putting their name in, new rule. I'm hoping Lamb comes back. Correct. The deadline to pull out has passed. Once they put in now, they're all in unless they don't get drafted and even then they'd have to pull a magical Randolph Morris fax out of their a$$.

Lamb would be our "Kemba Walker" next season. If he comes back, we have a shot to win it all. If he doesn't, we likely wont. Thats how I see it. Just who in the hell is beater than UK next year...even without Lamb? INdiana? Louisville? Duke? Florida? None of those teams are better than UK will be...I think we have a STRONG chance to repeat.

All three of Cal's teams here have been special..I too hate to see this group break up..they were fun to watch and I am so appreciative to Jones and Lamb for coming back and making this title possible..Best of luck to all of them but I truly hope 1 or 2 will come back....

What is the deal with the ncaa date and the pro date. What does the ncaa date mean The NCAA rule for April 10. If you wanted to keep your options open about coming back and didn't hire an agent you could come back to school. I believe the drop dead date on returning is May 8?, {something like that}. The NBA rule for underclassmen declaring is April 29. Since all of our guys missed the April 10 deadline if they declare now they cannot return. Doesn't matter if they hire an agent or not. I suppose that, if they are not drafted at all they may be some sort of rememdy, but I'm not sure about that. This will be the first test of the new rule. It's a terrible rule. I remember arguing with some, {one}, on here when the rule was made about how bad it was for the players and for the school. I know rr agreed with me that it was a terrible rule. It seems to have been yet another rule directed solely at UK.

I really love how Cal has used the one and done rule. It's better for Cal and UK if 6 players go in the first round. Great advertising. Horrow will be a great point guard. Probably better than Teague. If UK gets a good Power Forward and a few good back up players I can see another good run or at least as good as 2010 or 11. It would be better advertising to win it all again. I'm all for it! #th_laff#

It seems to have been yet another rule directed solely at UK. Terrible rule--intended to screw UK--but really screws PLAYERS. They have no opportunity to have tryouts--let pros see um against their peers in 1 on 1 direct confrontations. Prevents all the sizing up, measuring and evaluation. ncaa SCREWED over the players--again. needlenoseratface and cryroy and a few other coaches wanted the ncaa "rule" to force players to decide thus providing lazy coaches more CONTROL. LAMB is the most likely to return for UK. Many rumors from all over the place that he returns. Seems like a lot of "smoke" for there to be no truth to the rumors. rr

If Lamb comes back it will be because of a weak draft next year and yes his stock isn;t exactly rising but I don't see it freefalling either he is still right around 20. Teague is the one I would of most expected as he is slated at the bottom of round 1 in mocks and would be Lotto if he came back - maybe he needs the money
