You may get your wish. But a lot of people say this kid is going to have a hard time qualifying.

Read yesterday where he said he had a 3.6GPA and would take the ACT soon..I hope we get him.. If this is true then I don't get why everyone says his grades aren't in order. Unless he got like an 8 on the ACT or something.

Since the NCAA has a sliding scale for eligibility, it seems unlikely that he would not be able to score high enough on the ACT to get eligible. For gpa's above 3.55, he would need a combined ACT score of 37. That means he'll only have to average slightly above 9 out 36 in each of the 4 categories. I believe that randomly guessing questions will yield a grade of 7 on each category. So, a person could get a 37 almost not even reading the questions while drunk out of his mind.

Didn't he play for the same High School John Wall played for? #th_thinking# He did go to Word of God Academy, John Walls school, his junior season. He visited UK twice unoffically last year and loves UK. I assume we backed off due to grades and he probably switched schools to try an improve his grades.

At this point I don't even think he has an offer to come here. And if that's the case then the staff doesn't think he is good enough to play here.

Cal is not going to just give a scholarship away because he has a few extras. We're talking about the #67 and #90 ranked recruit here.

Is there maybe a JUCO gaurd out there? this guy isn't good enough at least out the gate to help us this year I'm getting the impression that Cal doesn't think there are any good guards left out there and thinks we are fine there but need more bigs. Plus I don't see why he would bring in a guy that won't contribute until maybe his second or third year, when we are in on the nations best guards in the 13 and 14 classes. Most think we are getting the Harrison twins next year so even if Goodwin leaves we would have 3 stud guards that year.

Get the plane tracker website out. Find out where he is going. #th_laff#

On the plane headed out recruiting, I had time to reflect on what this past year's team accomplished.
