Donovan's players get to the league...got to give him credit where credit is due. I think Calipari puts more guys in better position by far draft wise.
Bennett is a fool if he goes to Florida...he might be a little shy of the BIG TIME.

Why would he want to play for that little little pussified twerp, Pitino errand-boy when he could play for Calipari and be on the cutting edge of the sport? Defies reason, unless he's not condient enough in himself to playing at the highest level with the best. That's always a possibility.

I expect Bennett to sign with us as well. And then imagine, our starting line up next year could be 1 sophomore and 4 freshmen, with a sophomore and a freshmen as the first guys off the bench. Wow, we would be young but awesome #th_thumbup#

Nobody in College basketball is in the same league as Calipari when it comes to recruiting...however Donovan is a good recruiter. Pelphrey is a good recruiter that is on his staff.

Donovan is a good recruiter, no doubt. Given a Cal vs Donovan recruiting battle, I would take Cal over Donovan 10 times out of 10. That's why I'm guessing we get Bennett.

Billy promised AB that he would play 3?
What the f%@! is a 3?
We dont have 3's at Kentucky unless its points. Our kids play all over the floor. 2-3-4-5 play everywhere, inside outside, wherever we are wanting to go, simple as that.
Im sure Cal is asking AB the same thing, what's a 3, kid you come here you get to bring the ball up the court sometimes, others you take you man to the basket. Whatever we want to do we will do if your good enough.

Bennett can really show his talent at UK,but it takes a special player to be able to handle playing with great players and sharing the ball.

Amen to Ironhorse.
You got to be a special player to not want to gobble up the ball every time down the court.

^ i view this 180* different....i think it's takes an (e)specially selfish m.f.er to place his stats over a team win, and just a normal, every day player who doesn't have to have the ball in their hands on every possession. every person i ever played with would rather get minutes (and be just one of the guys) for a winning team rather than be a standout on a losing team. winning trumps all....
now if you're playing for a losing team, that changes the mindset a little....people start pressing and trying to do more than they're capable of; their thinking becomes "man, if i could do just a little more, maybe we'd start winning!", and this becomes a slippery slope to "selfish m.f.er" that they start to slide down

as of right now he's going to UF. But that has a high chance of changing on his official when he takes one finally. There is something going on academic wise that no one is talking about so we dont know what it is but supposedly UK had some concerns when he sent his transcripts in.
I hope the kid comes to UK because he wont play the SF at UF and he wont start unless Murphy just really doesnt improve at all. At UK he can start at the 4 which is interchangable with the 3 spot. Both face up at UK which means he'll guard 4's most of time but like Jones, he'll be mismatch galore for other 4's to guard and if a 3 tries to guard him, he'll back them down as Cal will teach. IMHO he'd be crazy to pick UF over UK but you never know.
UF and Donovan have used runners before and from the sound of this recruitment so far, sounds like this kid is being driven to UF by his people. Hopefully Cal will get to him on his official visit and show him why UK is the best option.
