I like good food and an icy cold carbonated beverage, sometimes Green Tea. But pizza is up there for me.

I cook...I won't say all, but @ half or so. more in the summer when I can crank up the grill. other than grilling, I just have 3 or 4 things I do well. mainly cornbread and soups/chili/beans. a couple of desserts. really, just enough that if my wife picks up her share (1/2), I can cook enough things that the kids don't get bored/sick of it
do a good French toast for breakfast, too

Beverage-Coke (Extra cold)
Food-Pizza/hot peppers, Dry Crunchy extra super spicy chicken, or cocktail shrimp with extra hot cocktail sauce that burns my nose.
Dessert- Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream
2nd favorite food_ Chinese with hot peppers.

My list:
Vodka: doesn't matter as I only drink bloody's, cheapest possible preferably
Scotch: Mccallans
Bourbon: blantons when possible, makers usually
Wine: Red: Stags leap artemis cab, Coppola claret is my go to
White: Antinori Bramito chard, Cavit pinot grigio is my go to
Beer: current fav: Rheingeist "The Truth" IPA, Budweiser is my current go to beer though
Dessert drink: I enjoy Grand Marnier after a nice dinner

I'm out of the loop on most of this stuff apparently; No preference on vodka. Only drink it in mixed drinks so whatever they use. Don't drink scotch. Bourbon; Woodford Reserve or Makers. Don't drink much of either though. Wine; I'm pretty much a screw the top off type. We drink a lot of Riunite. Either lambrusco or moscoto. We also buy the Arbor Mist cheap stuff too. 3 fifths for $13 at most of the stores around here. We made up a big pitcher of Arbor Mist sangria yesterday when decorating the tree. All we did was cut up a bunch of fruit and pour their sangria over it. Beer; My favorite when I can get is Yuengling but mostly just Bud Light or Mich Ultra. Cannot drink regular Bud or Miller Lite. Desset drink? Always considered a milkshake to be a desset drink.  |

I pretty much quit drinking about 8 years ago...If I do have a drink it is a bottle of hard cider...I have a 6 pack of Strong Bow in my fridge that has been in there for a month and I've had 1 bottle out of the 6...lol
I started drinking Cider about 20 years ago on a rugby tour in England and Scotland....my favorites are Blackthorn and Strong Bow...very dry not too sweet....Hard Cider is starting to be marketed in the US by some companies...I've seen commercials for Angry Orchard...I haven't tasted it but it looks like they are using more sugar to make it sweeter...and it has more calories...I will stick with the foreign ciders for now...

There are a few things I hate, but other than that, it doesn't make much difference to me what I eat. I love a cold beer, but I have Meniere's disease, so I don't even allow myself a single alcoholic drink of any kind. I can't even have soda if it has caffeine in it. |

Fiddling, I drink the caffeine free cokes, those are real good. I don't drink alcohol anymore either, although I could.
As for food, some days I am happy just to take some sliced turkey or ham and over cook it in the oven and make a crunchy sandwich with a cold coke or Green Tea and its pretty good. I usually add mayonnaise to it and maybe add lettuce.

I like the taste of blatz beeer. and Johnsonville brats. I like burnt hot dogs too if they aint burnt too bad. Chop and I ate a huge plate of burnt dogs, that was my fault they were over cooked coz Chop and I were drinking beer and shooting the shit and finally I saw the smoke and figured the large fire was the brats and dogs....LOL BUT...they were good just the same and we had a good time and UK beat UL that day. Just like today, UK Hoops beat the Smellers for South Jeffersonville for the 3rd year in a row. But anyway, burnt brats have a nice flavor to em. For a while we double dogged the bun. I think Chop strtaed Tri-Dogging. The man is a champ...kinda like the local version of Joey Chestnut. |
