The people on the board who haven't met me must think I weigh 450 pounds reading this thread.
I don't really remember the hot dogs being that burnt. I guess I just covered them up with jalapenos and sauce and onions and mustard and went to town. That was fun.
A few of my favorite beers all across the spectrum from Stouts to IPAs to weirdo flavors would be Founders Breakfast Stout, Brooklyn Lager, Turbodog, Schlafly Winter ESB, Zombie Dust, Yazoo Dos Perros, Pumking, Red Seal Ale, Tommyknocker Amber Lager, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. And a bunch of others. I can't remember em all. I have a list of my favorites I've ever tried in the man cave with a rating for each of them. I am a maniac like that. I am not a wine connoisseur or a liquor connoisseur, although I drink my share of both, but I do fancy myself something of a seasoned beer taster. The ones I listed above aren't necessarily the "best" but they are just some of the ones my tongue likes most.
But if I am just gonna sit around and suck down a few cans of "the drug alcohol" as Katman would say, then yes, Vaughn is right. I am a Natural Light man. You know, sometimes you're just in the mood for something kind of natural. And light. heh heh

What was that beer you brought down here, Yeunling? That was the only time I can ever remember drinking that. It wasn't bad at all. I had fun that day and we actually won a football game and ripped apart some dogs and brats. I think we ate about 450 of em.

It isn't bad for a normal old cheap american Lager. If you're gonna just walk into a gas station where there isn't much selection, that's about as good as you can normally hope for. I brought that down to you because you couldn't buy it there in Kentucky and I figured you'd like to try it for a change up.

I remember back when I was like 20 or 21 years old you couldnt get Coors here and it was always a treat when someone brought Coors from out West. People was selling it for 5 dollars a 6 pack in the late 70's here.

I don't drink whiskey or strong drink that much, but when I do it's Makers Mark or moonshine. A fifth of Jack lasted me 10 yrs once. Once I hit my mid twenties, I knew I'd have to give up the hard stuff.
I'm a beer drinker. Old Milwaukee Light cold!...I do get couple of cases of Yeungling Lager beer when I or my wife go to visit her parents in Shenandoah, PA.
I was stationed north of Philly for over 3 years and absolutely fell in love with any Mom and Pops lil' pizza joint. And love the Stromboli too!
Sometimes when we go out to eat and I'm looking at the menu, once I see a big ole' cheeseburger on there, and I start jones'n for it, it's a tuff choice between steak or the cheeseburger! Can't beat a big ole cheeseburger from the grill, mayonnaise, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. Throw in some steak fries and a big ole' ice cold Pepsi, and it's chomp time...
As I'm getting older, I rarely drink cold beer before 3pm and once 6pm rolls around, it's time to quit. I did drink beer after 6oclock last night watching the football game up in the garage, or for a night time UK basketball game.
Once my daughter was born, I stopped smoking in the house and now that she's 19, I still don't. I don't even drink beer in the house. Just doesn't seem right. So, 100% of the time I drink beer in the garage after yardwork or in the summer down at the pool.
As I'm getting older, I find that I drink less and less beer in a setting, although last night during a 3 hr football game, I did throw down 8 cold ones.

I'll have to make a beer run to Bowling Green tomorrow. 30 miles away just to buy beer. I do have a 1/2 case of Pabst Blue Ribbon in long necks and 8 green bottled Yeungling Lager left. I'll keep them for a special game.

I tell you what burger is the best you can get in a fast food restaurant in my opinion. If you go to Hardee's, try the monster burger....just be warned, it's a high fat dinner.
I have one every couple years. I would give my left onion to drink a cold beer again with one of those, but the burger itself is just so effin good it isn't even fair.
But if you are gonna get a hamburger anyway, try the MONSTER burger at Hardee's ...oh lord that is so damn tasty it makes my cholesterol go up just thinking about it.

I think my favorite fast food type burger is at Five Guys. There is something about that cheese, how it doesn't quite melt all the way, and those bright green jalapenos... it is just great to me. Most people say In-n-Out is better. I disagree.

I made a grill burger one time that was an absolute beast, made the o'lady a regular burger. I took like a half pound of hamburger and put 3 brats on it, covered it in onions and peppers and 3 slices of Havarti cheese and one habenaro and then took another half pound of hamburger and encased all that inside a huge sasquatch burger.. grilled that baby up for like a half hour until well done and sat the flaming deliciousness to my lips. Next day my a-hole burst into flames but it was awesome, took 2 beers to get that beast down.

Hardness does have the best fast food burger IMO. If anyone in Cincy is reading this, try 'Terry's Turf Club' on eastern ave. it was featured on diners, drive ins & dives. It always wins first place in the best burger of Ohio competition.

Yeah man... a great big fat juicy, hand-shaped, medium-rare burger on the grill is gonna be as good or better than any fast food we can go buy. If there is plenty of fat in the meat, and plenty of salt added, I'm good to go to war with that baby. Maybe a good buttered and toasted sesame seed bun. Good cheese. Let er roll. This new food board is a bad idea.. it's making me hungry talking about this stuff.

Pepper jack cheese with onions and hot peppers, good innards for a sasquatch burger, sometimes I take crispy french fries and add them to the finished burger, cut a full loaf of bread longways, cut the sasquatch in half and go MAN VS FOOD on that sucker. Sprinkle some ketchup, raw onions, and let the games begin.

You know those french bread loafs you can get in the deli? I would cut it in half and eat one half for dinner and would have one left over. Eating the whole thing would probably be a food challenge for Adam Richman on the Man Vs Food show. I dont know if I could eat the whole thing in one setting, especially with the heat from the hot peppers, but damn man....it's frickin delicious.
