Sliced um up, threw some homemade rub on them and grilled them with a filet. Delicious. Zucchini not ready yet. Tomato plants are growing like crazy too, but they are still alittle ways off. Did my peppers in pots this year. Turning out to be a wise decision for me. Last year had trouble with them. So far so good.
Anyone else growing anything? If so what?

I grow Jalapeno and Chili peppers. They are super great in chili and on pizzas and in many other dishes.
I do my peppers in pots. We used to grow all kinds of vegetables but the trees have taken over in the back yard, but I can strategically place pots where they get plenty of sun.

Cherry tomatoes do real well in pots if you like them. I find myself growing more and more every year.

Sounds good Lair. I'm not much of a gardener myself but I wish I was.

When I was a kid, we had a huge garden, enough for us and everyone we knew. I remember hoeing those freaking weeds and I still hate gardening.

We have a big garden. Tomatoes, multiple types of beans, squash zucchini , corn, cabbage, broccoli etc. this is looking like a good year. Last two years were not productive.

Lots of cherry tomatoes already.
sweet banana peppers have small blooms--
Lots of herbs around my deck in planter boxes--Oregano, basil(3 kinds), chives, parsley, rosemary, thyme, lavender, sage, lemon balm----all sorts used in cooking, and I cut sprigs off all and put in an aluminum pan(with hickory and mesquite wood chips)and let um char and burn as I grill---wonderful aromas and delicious food!!

Never thought about charring them as I grill. That's a great idea. Think I'll give it a try. Thanks!!!

I like to make hamburger patties and put peppers and cheese in the center and then grill the burgers, you take a bite of that and this wonderful flow of spicy hot cheese flows out with each bite.
