..quite frankly, why?....why would a yank liberal, such as yourself, care 2 bits about a GOP debate this early in the season?.... I know you don't believe me but I really don't want Hillary for 4 or even 8 years. I was hoping for Rand Paul based almost solely on his foregn policy but I came away from the debates pretty impressed with Rubio. I know you think I am left of Michael Moore - whatever ! I do think Hillary will do the opposite of what her "husband" says out of simply spite. And Bill Clintons presidency didn't take off untill he told "baby" to stand in the corner and STFU. I am confident I know more about HRC than anyone on this board beign where I am from and who I talk to ---- to know I want basically anyone other than Trump or Cruz to beat her.. and Yes I am a LIBERAL and YES a DEmocrat. Okay maybe not Bernie either as he is as wacko left as RR and maybe others are wacko right. I thought the first questions they asked all the candidates were sort of lowball, but all the candidates answered them quite well. They set Trump up on some of his questions. Fiorina did fairly well and I'd like to see her and hilliary in the Octagon! Many more debates left to observe and form opines.

It did appear like they wanted to cull the fish basket starting with Donald Trump. That was a low blow right out of the gate.

Fox News is a right new outlet and they want the GOP to take the POTUS thus they want to destroy trump as fast as they can as they know Trump is a killer the longer he is relevant the ore he hurts the party. If that was on MCNBC you could of expected a softball fest in regards t Trump as they would want him to do well Jeb or Walker will likely get the nomination. But how much trouble will Trump do untill then............... Expect Kasish to get a strong concidreation for VP just beacause he is Gov. of Ohio . I really like Kasish as he is a centrist more than a GOP guy. Many more GOP canidates I want than anything Dem this time as Hill or Bernie are awful options

Rand Paul was too emotional, too impatient, and came off as unsteady. Rubio had a good debate, along with Cruz, Huckabee and Kasich. The man that is the most real, and is probably the finest person of the bunch is Dr. Ben Carson.
Carly Finoria had a great debate, and is very interesting person that I am going to investigate.
I wish it would get down to 5 or 6 candidates sooner rather than later.

Rand has some good ideas, but he just doesn't carry himself to be president at least if he runs against the dems. Cruz, Rubio, and Huckabee did well as did Carson. Plenty of time for someone to rise to the top. I do agree to put Kasich on as VP to garner the Ohio vote.

I know it's bad, and it shouldn't be this way... But Rand Paul needs to be taller, and needs to get rid of the hairstyle he has. He really needs to work on his delivery. He comes off as whiney and temperamental.

I'm not saying that Fiorina would be the best candidate for the Republicans, but IF, If, if she did "debate" hilliary in a presidential debate, she'd win it. I feel Carly would get away with down right slammin' hilliary whereas, if a male candidate slams hilliary, in this pc society, they'd just come off looking like a male chauvinist. Will be interesting to see how Carly progresses in the near future and at the next main debate if she makes it.

Carly is new to the arena and if the GOP goes with a NEW face may as well go with Carson though I disagree with Carson on many isues I admire his being genuine. It comes down to Jeb, Walker, Rubio and the ability to get Trump not to run as 3rd party - which I expect Trump might do in some sort of back room deal to garner favor with the Hillary administration. Jeb / Walker would be the safest ticket getting Florida and Wisky allowing to only really focus on Ohio , Col, and Penn. The best risk reward ticket would be Rubio / Kasich JMO

People thought Paul Ryan would wipe the floor with "laughin" Joe and it worked quite the opposite - just saying Hillary isn't near her Husband as far as debating but shes no "jane" come latley either she would be on her game and while Carly might win it wouldn't be the sqaush you see.. As far as Trump and all time he has files bankruptcy he needs all the government help he can get with his next business failure -- Trump is all about working the angles - the man is scum plain n simple n Hillary is as well and would not put it past them both - Big business men work the lobbyist and politcs all the time to gain favor it;s part of the game. If you want Hillary to lose or have a chance hope that it's Jeb or Rubio winning with Kasich as the runnign mate.

Don't get me wrong I really like Carson on a personal level I think he is a straight up ,highly intelligent, and honest man - I just disagree with him on issues like Health care reform being Pro single Payer and him being one of the most out spoken against it. I know I am one of the few if only person on here who is for single payer health care -- I just believe everyone should get free healthcare even if it raises taxes. The only person that would fight for Single payer is Hillary but all the bad that Hillary brings would off set that little good IMO -- also I seriously doubt single payer would ever pass anyway as Obama tried it and it ended up being the watered down cluster fock known as Obama Care. I know that question was likely a bait ... I took it as I do strongly beleive in healthcare for all.
