I can't speak to civilian cops, but military cops used to be of the protect your own model. I can't speak to the real serious stuff, but it was definitely true on the small stuff. I like to think something as serious as a bad shoot would be taken care of properly, but on small stuff, even shift commanders would sweep stuff under the rug. I saw it pretty often. |

..I can see both sides...
-she was only speeding and the actions of the police were not warranted..
-she was not following the officer's commands and resisted to what he wanted her to do...
..I'm sure at the time of arrest the officer's did not know she was a second grade teacher with no record...but, IF, If, if I ever get pulled over, I'm gonna do exactly what the officer's request..
