To be honest, I voted for Trump solely for conservative SCOTUS picks and hoped for the best on the rest, but his election is having other benefits. I don't know how this will turn out in the end, but there's definitely more hope than there was. Besides just the anti Trump agenda, I think the left is also sending a message to future potential Trump like candidates, "See the BS we will put you through if you stand up to us." They are not going to give up."

It's pretty much fighting for our right to exist as a sovereign country. I think it goes deeper than some folks going to jail. Hopefully people will go to prison, but it will just be the "actors" the public sees who are jailed. The real leaders of the movement will still be there and untouched, still available to promote their agenda on fronts many people do not see. I hope we as a nation are prepared. |
