For some reason, God thinks the world is flat with waters above. I however will say its round because the trusted media says so. (DWS)

There are also verses that imply the earth is a sphere (as in round or a ball). If we accept the Bible as the word of God (I do), then it has been translated several times since the original Hebrew or Greek. Sometimes there is not an exact word for word translation to English, so something has been substituted for the nearest meaning. You also have to remember God was speaking to men who had no concept of what most of the world was like. He was talking to them in terms they could understand. I've read the Bible through more than once (and also read verse by verse commentaries-from a Baptist perspective- and I have to reject flat earth from both a biblical and scientific perspective.
