Congress to ChickenS^$%^$t to come to work I guess, I don't want trillions of dollars spent by proclamation I can tell you that, I do think that some small businesses need help and quick and those should be very targeted to just those and no pork barreling allowed.

I'm probably stupid. My accountant said to apply for the small business gov loan and I'd come out way ahead. I didn't do it though. I don't need it, at least at this point. The laid off employees probably come out ahead, and I just want as little to do with the gov as possible.

I'm a bit like you that if I don't need the loan I'm not taking it, I don't care if the gubment says it will be forgiven, I dont' trust 'em either, too much small print in a 1000 page document written in 7 days, it will be the small businesses that will be screwed in the end. As a taxpayer and not owning a small business I do support the loans and understand that I and everyone will take it in the shorts to pay for them, its needed by many folk and this was not their doing. I do not support unrestricted loans to states and cities, those will be used in ways unrelated to this virus to bail out bad decisions by those running those states and cities, they will have to deal with those poor decisions. These loans are for people and entities that need it, not government hubris, greed, and agenda driving. As Americans we take care of a lot of the world, its time in a true time of need we take care of our own and more importantly make sure if we do pay the money or give the loans, the grants and payments go exactly for what is intended, the American worker and businessperson, not poor decision making, not the center for the arts etc.

I skimmed through the application and saw nothing that was a problem in the way I conduct business, "BUT" if the gov decided they wanted to, that would allow them to come in my door and look around. As small as I am, it's unlikely they'd look at me, but I just don't want to open that door.
