It occurs to me that everyone needs a bit of uplifting and Joy and while I am a strong believer in the Word and God's plan I admittedly am not a regular church attendee I've seen too much hippocracy in churches that hurt good people but I've always liked this verse from the King James Version of the Bible for it simple and direct explanation of our lives
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
In around 152 words we see the course of our lives explained very simply and how simple our time on earth really is. These last few months are an expression of just a small part of those words, and it is all just a part of our lives how we deal with it will be our legacy for the future and a part of our judgement when we pass. Good works can come of this folks, we as a people and a nation can step up. As is intended we can choose a right or wrong way to proceed. The correct course is clear in my mind, reflect, listen to others, and if you believe pray, you will feel better and good will come of it. This country is fundamentally good, the people all of them are generally kind, giving, caring and willing to help one another that's what we build on. We don't build on the hopes of politicians we build on our own character and how we live our lives and a dependence on family and God.
