On August 4, 2020, Attorney General William Barr and Presidential Advisor Ivanka Trump announced that the Office for Victims of Crime would award over 35 million dollars in grant funding to provide safe, stable housing and appropriate services to victims of human trafficking. As of August 15th, $10,130,000 has been awarded by various U.S. attorneys to the following regions:

South Carolina ($500,000)

Western Washington ($1.5 million)
