I am working on a project with about 900 folks, we do a covid safety report/update every week, 0 this week, no flu like symptoms, 1 at home for suspected contact will be back next week. I know its just one site but we have very high diversity and folks going all over on the weekends. This has been the trend since mid-June even then we had few cases work force dropping to 800+ for a couple of weeks with enforced quarantines (sent home by management for possible exposure with known sick person)
What does it say? It says people know how to take care of their business, these folks want to work and are not letting fear control their lives. Cases up a bit in Texas but continues down, death rate is very low. we see spikes because lots of cases are not reported from previous months are late with the report or diagnosis.
We don't need lock downs we need folks to be smart in particular younger folks who are as we all were (and are) immature and self absorbed.
So Cuomo, Newsome, Whitmore...you still suck and are still making bad decisions.

Communists seem to be hypochondriacs.
Perhaps many are afraid to die because they have no God
Snap the stupid jock-straps off your faces and take to the streets in protest.

Houston,
I think you know where I work. I violate the law every day, screaming down 36 at 90 miles per hour observing your project advance. Believe it or not, at least once a week, while cruising at 90, I get passed like Im not moving. Texas Super Speedway!
In January, we had 10,000 people on site, today, we only have about 3000. Big capital projects are on hold.
We have had a significant number of covid positive tests, it comes in waves. The "TRUTH" is among the working demographic, covid is usually results in mild symptoms that are flu like, but not as severe as a typical seasonal flu.
There are of course exceptions, typically these exceptions within the "working age demographic" involve preexisting respiratory issues (asthma, chronic bronchitis etc.), diabetes, obesity or immune diseases like lupus.
That being said, covid is a serious public health issue, as is flu, it needs to be addressed in a similar manner, community by community control measures, not state wide shut downs.

Amen to that. Treat it like flu season and dismantle corporate media for being propaganda against the people.
