As has been said many times we will never know the true numbers, flu certainly isn't being reported (heard on news but I have several medico friends and relatives that are confirming that hospitals and gov. officials are not reporting correctly the flu etc.) It is so heinous just tell the damn truth, we all know its very contagious, but we are not getting true numbers and no reports at all on recoveries.
The mandatory mask stuff is BS most folks are complying when in public places you don't need it in fact the vast majority are, people are doing what they should and still control persists. Lock downs don't work yet, the science says it doesn't, follow the science or petty dictators and faucci's ilk. Education which before wasn't great is now awful, in Harris County (Houston) where I live, the virtual learning has been a disaster about 40% of the students on the system are failing courses normal for Houston ISD (not the best schools in the world) is 8 to 10%. Reasons, sometimes both parents must work to feed the children, parents quite often are disinterested in helping the kids or worse can't for various reasons. Not every child is self motivated they be human and will take the easy way out they have better things to do.
Just a rant on my part based on what's going on in Harris County and the bad thing it has a disproportionate effect on disadvantage citizens but then again this shutdown crap may be designed to surpress and control folk. If traffic around here is any indication most folk in Texas have said FI we will deal with this thing but we need to work for our families and kids.
