What are some great ones around the state? Generally, this is where a person finds the best people, and the best stories.

Nowhere. The crazy world control by turning everyone into hypochondriacs insures dirty diapers on faces at these places. Then you just breath in SHIT!

I have not lived in kentuckyfor many years but very early in my career with the transportation cabinet used to have to travel all arounf the madisonville district there were great places in smith mills, hebbardsville, most of the farming communities, farmers would come in for lunch, different specials, always great homecooked meals. Got to know a lot of folks and what was going on. I truly miss that. My favorite buger place was ferrels (spl) in henderson right across the first methodist church open 24/7 . Times have changed not a,ways for the good. Some small communities in the midwest and less populated western states stll endure.
Now im pissed in snith mills the owner of the diner i think her name was Meuth had the best roast beef and gravey lunches on wednesday on the planet π
