Hearing decision came down to Craft family refusing to give Cal a golden parachute. Mitch didn't want to get a team of donor's together he expected Craft to foot entire Bill . Anything that requires work Mitch won't do. I heard the same thing. There are two donors to the university athletic department that could afford to fund a $34 million buyout. The Craft family was one. When they said NO, Mitch knew he was in trouble and like you said, didn't want to put in the work to make it happen.
I also heard Joe Craft was sitting next to UK football assistant coach, Vince Marrow, at the SEC tournament. I wonder what that conversation was like. It is easier to raise funds for football now than UK basketball. Because of Calipari. |

It is a weird situation and Barnie is not on speaking terms with Calipari. He is tight with the football coaches. We are screwed as long as Calipari is coach and Barnie AD. |
