Cody Fueger will be one of three recruiting assistants at Kentucky. This is a great hire. L's Down.

No commitments but Coach did zoom call with top recruit Liam McNeeley last night. We are getting in very late but if coach can get him on campus, who knows. The experts say UConn will be his destination.
This kid would fit in perfect in an offense run by Pope and his assistant Cody Fueger.

I hope Pope can reel in McNeeley, but I think the kid from Belmont Cade Tyson would be an even better get, older and more experienced and is as good of a shooter and maybe better.

I like the kid from Belmont a lot. He would be a starter from day one. Another shooter UK may be favorite to bring in is the Dayton grad transfer Koby Brea. The 6-6 wing averaged 11.1 points and shot 49.8% from the 3 Point line this season. That sounds to me like a Mark Pope player.
He has heard from the following but word is UK may be at the top.
Kentucky Baylor Villanova Creighton Ohio State USC Wisconsin Depaul

Very modern game and ahead of the curve. Hard worker, young and good recruiter. The offense for next year is encouraging.
I doubt we see anymore over rated 5 stars who couldn't hit the ocean with a basketball. All five starters will be expected to move and be ready to score. Passing will be an emphasis. This sounds like the old 66 team.

Totally agree, when there's a dumpster fire there's nothing in the dumpster worth salvaging.

With the portal, it's moronic to continue recruiting kids out of high school unless they're an Anthony Davis type player. It's so much safer and easier to load up on older seasoned proven players who already played in meaningful college games some in he ncaa tournament. This Brea kid has great size and looks to be a tremendous shooter. Hope MP can reel him in
