....i know just seeing his practice doesn't equal he'll play that way in a game....but i'd almost dam near right now rather have him vice Thiero.....

I love to see this. The young man would not have been given the time of day by Calipari. But he has heart, an ingredient most of Begok's players did not have. He is driven by a desire to excel at his state's university and now that he has the opportunity I am confident he will bust his ass to do it.
Now the door has been open to everyone, including white kids from Kentucky, to play ball at UK and earn a scholarship.

I love the fact that Mark Pope is recruiting kids that have dreamed about wearing Kentucky across their chest. I'm excited that we're getting back to what Kentucky basketball really means and to see these Kentucky kids Perry and Noah playing their hearts out for Kentucky rather than using the program as a stepping stone to the nba.

I love the fact that Mark Pope is recruiting kids that have dreamed about wearing Kentucky across their chest. I'm excited that we're getting back to what Kentucky basketball really means and to see these Kentucky kids Perry and Noah playing their hearts out for Kentucky rather than using the program as a stepping stone to the nba. I have always been one to not give a care about where a kid is from. But these two young men have a chance to be a pert of something really special. I do believe in this case it does mean more to them, and they will be playing for keeps. |

This video confirms why I am so glad Calipari is gone forever. Noah confirms the University of Kentucky basketball staff had ZERO communications with him while he was starring at Harlan. NADA. That changed the moment Mark Pope arrived. Noah averaged nearly 30 points a game, was a big guard at 6'5" and can shoot lights out and became the third all time scorer in Kentucky history. This guy has a great shooting touch, and he is big enough to get his own shot. He might be one of those guys that can get in the middle of a zone and bust it wide open.
We haven’t seen a tactic like that in at least 15 years. Ol’ cal just wanted to dribble right into it.
