Back when I actually followed boxing, Ali was my favorite. A lot of folks didn't like him because of his mouth, but I always liked him. Most people don't realize it, but he was a VERY HARD worker. I had a buddy who was going to fight in one of the Toughman tournies and I worked out with him. I read books on what boxers typically did in workouts and how much work they did. In his prime, no one even came close to the amount of preparation work Ali did. Natural ability and HARD WORK made him the greatest.
