Cal was higly complimentary of all 4 frosh---and was not kind to miller and lamb.
cal said Teague played very good--and got a couple bad calls on charges. I will stick with what Cal said. Teague totally controlled the best scorer for ut--shut golden down to 2 points.

Cal talks alot of bs too. He has to say so or put him in street clothes. Not a fan of 1 and done but pray a foolish GM picks him.

We should have a few problems at this point in the season... Nothing wrong with that... All of the problems are fixable too!!!
UT gave us everything they had... The refs called a bunch of bullshit... We only hit 2 or 3 three pointers (I can't remember)... And we came away with a great road win... Something we STRUGGLED with last year.... I wish we had stokes though...

I wish we had stokes too. He's going to be really good someday. Yeah, but he's only 12 years old and he hasn't ever even practiced basketball and he wears a size 35 shoe and he weighs 1000 lbs and he guards his yard annd he plays like not just a MAN, but SUPERMAN. Did I leave anything out?? #th_laff# Like a "rim-run" or two?

PVO I agree that it's fixable. The SEC refs just flat out suck though. I would love to see Calipari pull out his check book at a press conference, and tell them "I'm making this check out to the SEC for my fine, now I'm going to tell you all what I think of the SEC officiating...."

I actually feel better about this team than I did after the Lamar game.
We're 3 and 0 in the SEC with 2 road games under our belt and one of them is a traditionally tough place for us to play.
Every game like this makes us stronger.
Its funny to me that some see issues now when I don't and they didn't when I did
such as living and dying as a UK fan.

2 made three pointers, terrible officiating, and a totally amped up rival.....=LOSS....uh....no=VICTORY....
a couple things....Darius and Doron were NO SHOWS....Cal said as much oh is post game show...
AD,MKG and Teague were awesome...the pick and roll action with MKG and AD in the second half were beautiful.....Teague as Cal stated guarded the entire game, hence he held Golden to 2 points...this was their leading scorer and a kid that had been averaging 21 pts a game over the last 4.....
I agree the offense is stagnant due to spacing and I do think Cal will get it figured out....I did like the pick and roll action in the second half and would like to see more of that in the future...

agree about the spacing....hard to drive your man when there's 2 more help defenders waiting in the lane
i did like the looks of the stokes kid...wasn't he 3rd or 4th on our wish list? i've got to see bennet and those other cats rated higher on our board before i believe they're gonna make better players than stokes....i thought the book on him was 'undersized' 4? he looked plenty stout out there to me

Miller and Lamb need to get their heads out they asses, but nobody on the bench to rival them for playing time.....Teague will be fine......hard to win on the road at Knoxville, the refs were tryin' hard to take it away, but we pulled it out...
