When kennedy STOLE the election against nixon by having chicago mob "create" votes needed to get those electoral votes for kennedy---repubs did NOT complain, seek a re-count, go to the supreme court--or WHINE!! And--evil lyndon johnson did the same in texas, but nixon refused to contest the initial vote counts.Results were accepted and NO whine was made about the obvious CHEATING that was done in chicago and texas. So--NO conservatives accept the vote of the electoral college---never a case where conservatives marched and whined and burned and forced a decision by the supreme court. but--dems--whine and moan all the time--baby bush twice and TRUMP. whine, moan, recount, supreme court--and still whine and moan about TRUMP. For those too young to remember or were not alive at the time--a little refresher for the dems to get some FACTS;

I really don't want to get into the popular electoral college vote thing. The electoral college was set up to avoid the issue of heavily populated states or cities controlling elections. They system gives the smaller populated areas a reasonable chance of electing a president. It has worked well, Clinton got the vast majority of votes in California and New York the very model of why the electoral college was chosen. I do believe a couple of FBI guys are going to jail, maybe the Clapper and Brennan. I don't think Flynn will go, I think the case will be dismissed whatever case can be made of a purgery trap, Mannaford is tax issues, not sure bout the other fella but that would probably be tapering with witness. Laws were broken peeps from both sides will go to jail over it. If things were reversed in the Electoral college I certainly would accept because I understand why it was instituted. I don't really want new York, California, or Chicago politicians running my life nor should you. They do not respect the great middle of the country and consider us "backward". They know best. The Electoral college needs to stay in place No way on earth the GOP'er would have accepted it. We would still be having riots. Maybe you would have accepted it. But no way the trumpers would have. Hell, he wouldn't have accepted if he had lost both. He still claims he won the popular vote too. He's as delusional as his blind followers. He even has his own truth. Being from a small state like Kentucky I also agree with the electoral college system. But the orange face only agrees because he won that way. Well if he says he won the popular vote perhaps there is a valid case for Article 25  . He didn't lost by 3 million I think mostly from California. While I don't think he's done a bad job and he has kept promises to the extent the house will let him I don't think his ego will let him accept a shortfall of a contest, part of what makes him successful, abrasive, and aggravating. |
